Joss Frimond
Founder of Linguaid · chair of the CAJA jury
Joss Frimond is the founder of Linguaid and a recognised expert in professional language training. For more than twenty years he has helped training organisations and companies design, evaluate and improve their training programmes.
A certified Kirkpatrick “Gold” facilitator and Learning Transfer Designer Senior Enabler, he works to professionalise the training market in France. Under his leadership Linguaid has become a major player in certified language training, with two certifications registered in the Répertoire Spécifique:
CAJA – Communiquer en anglais juridique des affaires, for lawyers and in-house counsel; LangueXpert – Former de manière innovante en langues vivantes, for language trainers.
From a family of lawyers, Joss developed an early affinity with the legal world. It was in that spirit that he created, in partnership with Ken Fagan, a high-level legal English coaching offer for law firms and large companies in France.
As chair of the CAJA certification jury, he ensures the compliance, fairness and quality of the assessments conducted by the certification juries. He makes sure the competency and assessment frameworks are respected and that decisions are consistent, so as to guarantee the value and national recognition of the certification.
